Improving milk production with artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer science fiction for Andy Van Rossem. The dairy farmer has 50 out of his 140 cows equipped with sensors and monitors everything on his smartphone.
” I know perfectly how much a cow moves, how much she eats and whether she is ready to be inseminated”, says Van Rossem. The app [Ida] was developed by Connecterra, a Dutch start-up that uses technology from Google.
